BUILDING & SAFETY WEEK EVENT AT CITY HALL

To help raise awareness of building safety, the City of Calabasas is celebrating Building Safety Week from May 6 through May 12, 2007 promoting the use, enforcement, and understanding of building safety to protect lives and property. “Building Smarter…for Disasters and Everyday Life” is the theme of Building Safety Week 2007. In celebration, the City will be hosting an open house with members of the Building & Safety Division.
The community is invited to join us on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Building & Safety Division located at City Hall at 26135 Mureau Road. The permit coordinator, building inspectors, plan examiners, code enforcement officers, and the building official, will be on hand to answer questions and explain the importance of permits, inspections, and building codes to ensure safe construction.
