CALABASAS 5k/10k RUNS
Full Description:
The 3rd Annual Calabasas Classic 5k/10k Runs is set to take place on November 11, 2006 on a scenic course certified and sanctioned by USATF.
Registration for this event is still available ONLINE. A hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Talbert Family Foundation.
In addition to the runs, there will also be an Expo featuring various businesses and an award and autograph-singing session will take place featuring teen celebrity Alexandra Rose Rieger. Rieger, who is a singer, actor, dancer and commedienne, was recently appointed spokesperson for the In A Perfect World Foundation-- an organization that aims to empower children to become compassionate, socially-conscious and responsible leaders. Rieger is also a Youth Ambassador for Kids With A Cause (KWAC) a world wide charity comprised of young celebrity kids using their passion, energy, resources and talent to make a real difference for kids in the world.
