OPENING OF BRANDON'S VILLAGE PLAYGROUND

The unveiling of Brandon's Village Playground, the universally accessible playground at Gates Canyon Park (map), last October 28 was well-attended.
The grand opening featured an official ribbon cutting ceremony, speeches, refreshments, and fun activities.
The playground, designed by Shane’s Inspiration, a non-profit organization that designs and builds universally accessible playgrounds, features over 70% independently playable equipment for children with disabilities and provides meaningful and stimulating play opportunities for able-bodied children.
